Music Music magazine plan LIIAR

I am going to create a music magazine which is my main task for this course.
My magazine is going to attract a certain target audience it is going to involve and influence certain people and going to have its own genre and ideology.
The magazine i am going to produce is going to be the February version. This is because i don't want Christmas or new year to effect the layout of my front splash. The idea behind my magazine and what id like the reader to recognise is that my magazine always has the same layout and fonts but each issue has a different themes colour.

Language
The language is going to be informal. This is so the reader feels more relaxed and involved. My magazine is going to use slang words and colloquialisms. This will effect the style of the magazine and be more recognisable to the target audience.

Ideology
The aim of my magazine is to let the reader reminisce and be reminded of past classic music trends. It is going to be primarily about music and have aspects of fashion and lifestyle as well. This is so the reader doesn't get bored whilst reading the same thing and also to bring a bit more excitement to the magazine. My magazine is going to be about the 1960's mods. I am going to have bands such as The Who, The Kinks, Small Faces and The Jam in it. I am then going to relate the 1960's mod bands to 1990's and 2000 century bands which are similar like Oasis, Blur, Ocean colour scene, Supergrass and then todays bands such as The Libertines and Franz Ferdinand but the splash is mainly going to be on the original bands. I want the youngsters to be able to realate to clubs such as 'Spiders' in Hull and state the music played there is music made by The Who etc. I am going to mention what the mod where, how they acted, what their lifestyle was like and the things they wore. I am also going to state who their rivals were and relate that to rivals today for example. Mods and rockers and skinheads and todays version Chavs and moshers.

Institution
The institution of my magazine would be music magaiznes such as MOJO or Q or NME, as these all focus on the same aspects of which mine will. The same genre of music and the same target audience and intention and purpose.

Audience
The target audience is going to be a vast variety depending on the magazine issue. But this issue is going to aimed at mainly males in the region of 30 and above because this era would be their childhood. I also want the magazine to attract today's generation of 20 year old's because it is going to involve information on live gigs and influenced bands of this era. Females will not really have anything to relate to with this magazine as mods wasn't a female 'thing.' Some fashion statements will be noted but the music aspects will be aimed at males.
